D-Pad Mishap

I tried to assign the movement controls to my controller's D-pad, but for some reason that only works in the subscreen menus; I can't move my character around at all unless I assign the movement to my analog stick. Can anybody help me with this?

What Solarus version are you using?
Did you run the game normally or from the quest editor?

I was running it normally. I think I have the 1.10.3 version of the game also.

Ok. There are some known problems with controllers in Zelda Mystery of Solarus 1.10 / Solarus 1.4, even when running normally. I fixed some problems in the development version, so maybe it will be solved in the next release.

Does it affect all controllers or just the older ones? I'm using one of the latter.

Most controllers work correctly, only some of them have issues.

Ah, ok. Hopefully that's fixed soon
I have a workaround for it until then.
