Gamepad on Linux
« on: October 26, 2019, 01:10:01 AM »
I can't get the gamepad to work with Solarus. I tried using Book of Mudora and Le Defi de Zeldo Chapter 2. I am using Zorin OS (a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu) and a Logitech gamepad. Even when I push D then scroll until I get to options for controls, there is never a response to pushing something on the gamepad. The gamepad works with jstest so the operating system is detecting the gamepad.

Never mind, I solved it. I opened the "software" application, searched for Solarus and found a permissions button. It appeared that permission for the joypad was off by default.
