Hello Solarus Community,

I find that this open source engine is very flexible and decided to switch to it. I have a few questions though and please correct me if I am wrong. I don't know if there are glitches for the new version of Solarus.

  • Where would I find games made with Solarus besides the two(2) Zelda games?
  • Where can I find porting information and what can it port to? I read somewhere about Wii, android, Linux, GCW-Zero, Mac, etc

I got everything currently working in the Engine I'm using, but the porting is going no where for the engine and many platforms, consoles, and operating systems is very important. That is why I wish to switch to Solarus.

Sincerely,
Zuto

Right now, no finished game except the 2 zelda are finished with the engine. But you have a lot of work in progress in the "Your projects" section :)

About the operating systems, yes Linux is up to date, the other I'm not sure. Mac should be, Android must be updated but the main dev is missing (maybe it changed since, my informations have a few months ^^), the Wii I'm not sure but I think it's just a project in progress, and the GCW-Zero is still active but I don't know if they are in the last version of the engine.

Indeed, there is a lack of information (or visibility of this page) about the OS supported by the engine in the general website =]

Well, I will do the basic tutorials on the site and will check back with platform porting support.

This engine seems to be the best for multiple platforms. A lot of commercial engines are not even this close.

I will try to make the basics of my game in Solarus and help locate bugs.
