Title: Solarus 1.6 early?
Post by: MichaelNG789 on September 02, 2018, 03:11:53 AM
One of my friends messaged me saying that he found Solarus 1.6 early. I was confused and I don't know how that would be possible unless part of the dev team, and he sent me this link: http://www.solarus-games.org/downloads/solarus/win32/. I went on the site and saw Solarus 1.6 "snapshot" zips. Are these really 1.6 beta or something?

Yes, the 1.6 releases in your link are beta versions. But Solarus is also open source, meaning it is being developed in the open. You can see the full codebase here: https://gitlab.com/solarus-games/solarus/

Early 1.6 development versions can be used at your own risks :)
